It gives you a clear orientation for learning German — what actually matters, what tends to cause problems later, and how to build in a way that supports real progress. Many beginners find this kind of clarity especially helpful, because it helps them start without falling into the usual traps.
I’ve learned German before. Is this workshop for me?
Yes — this workshop is for learners of all levels, although focusing on beginners and people who have learned German, but cannot speak.
We’ll look at several core points that commonly block progress, even after classes, apps, or years of learning. The goal is to help you understand what has been missing and what needs to change so that learning can actually move forward.
What will this workshop focus on?
This workshop focuses on how learning German needs to be approached so that real progress can happen — and how that differs from how German is usually taught in traditional courses.
We’ll look at a few fundamental issues that strongly influence whether someone builds usable German or keeps getting stuck in theory, exercises, or “starting again.”
I’ve tried many things already. How is this workshop different?
Most people who join this workshop are not new to learning German — they’ve already tried classes, apps, books, or courses.
This workshop is not about adding more tips. It’s about understanding a few underlying points that shape everything else. Once those are clear, past experiences often make sense — and future learning becomes much more directed.
Is this just a talk, or will we actually work with German?
This is an interactive workshop.
You won’t just listen — you’ll experience how German can be learned differently.
During the workshop, I’ll guide you through simple, practical exercises where you’ll actively work with German, repeat, and try things out. You’ll see (and feel) the difference between understanding something in theory and actually being able to use it.
You don’t need to prepare anything or already “know” German.
If you can, I recommend joining with your camera and microphone on, because participating will make the workshop much more effective — but you can also just follow along and listen if you prefer.
Either way, you won’t walk away with just ideas, but with a real experience of what learning German this way feels like.
