“I had learned German for a year and I could not speak. After two months of training with Susi I started talking with people. I could start working in a job where I speak German.

The teacher loves her language and her students, and she wants the students to have interest in the language. Thank you for this course.”

“In the course, sentence patterns were introduced immediately, and after learning just a few of them I was able to speak clearly and directly in a group — something that had never happened before, despite having taken German for two years as a teenager.

The speed drills were a game changer and gave me a level of speaking confidence I had never had before.”

Have Questions? I’ve got answers!

I feel overwhelmed. Is this course manageable if I’m busy or not very disciplined?

Yes. Get Talking German is structured, step by step, so it’s always clear what to do next. You don’t need long study hours or extreme discipline. Small, regular learning times are enough. The course is self-paced, and you also have a live support and practice environment, so you’re not doing this alone.

How much time do I need per week to make progress?

From my experience, most learners need around three hours a week to make real progress. That could be 30 minutes a day, a few longer sessions, or one or two focused study blocks.

If you work with the language much less than that, it becomes very hard to see results — and many people then lose motivation simply because they don’t feel progress happening.

Consistency is more important than doing many hours. And because you’re actively using German, most students find it easier to make time for this than for “classic studying.”

I’ve tried learning German before and failed. What makes this different?

Instead of starting with rules and theory, you start with sentence patterns, guided speaking, and usable language. Grammar is there — but always in service of actually using German.

Every step is small, clear, and practical. You are busy working with the language, not just learning about it.

A very large part of my students over the years were people who had tried other methods, passed exams, or “learned German” — but still couldn’t really use the language.

Many of them made surprisingly fast progress once the method changed, because what was missing before wasn’t intelligence or motivation — it was the right structure and the right kind of practice.

Do I need any prior German knowledge?

No. Get Talking works for true beginners and for people who are starting again.

Everything is built step by step, so you’re never “behind.” In fact, complete beginners often find it easier because they don’t have to unlearn confusing things from the past.

If you already know some German but can’t really speak, this course is designed to rebuild your foundation in a way that actually leads to usable language.

What if I’m not sure this course is right for me?

If you’re unsure, you can book a free clarity call before joining. This is a 30-minute call where you can ask your questions, explain your situation, and see whether this course is a good fit for you.

I’d much rather you only join if it actually makes sense for you – and you can also cancel anytime.

Is this course self-study or guided?

Get Talking German is designed as a self-study course, so you can learn in your own time and build German into your life in a way that actually fits.

All lessons are structured step-by-step, so you always know what to do next and how to work with the material.

At the same time, you’re not on your own: you get access to the community, live Q&A and practice sessions, and guided support for finding practice partners.

So you get both: full flexibility and a real learning environment.

I’m not a beginner. Is this still right for me?

Yes. This course is made for both true beginners and people who have learned German before but don’t feel confident speaking.

If you’ve studied German in the past, you’ll likely recognize many words — but what’s often missing is actual use of the words, speaking practice, and knowing how to build and use sentences naturally.

This course fills in those missing pieces: sentence patterns, guided speaking, real usage, and a clear system for building German that actually works in real life.

Many “restarters” experience very fast progress, especially at the beginning, because they finally get the kind of practice and structure that wasn’t there before.

I don’t have anyone to practice with. Is that a problem?

No. You do not need to come with a practice partner.

The course itself shows you how to work with German actively, even on your own, so you are never dependent on having someone around you.

In addition, you get access to the community and guided support to connect with other learners.

There are regular live practice and Q&A sessions, and we actively help learners find practice partners or small practice groups inside the program.

So even if you start completely alone, you won’t stay that way.

Can I join together with someone else?

Yes — and that is absolutely encouraged.

Learning together makes practice easier, more regular, and often more fun.

If you and another person want to join together, both of you can email me and tell me you’re signing up as a pair. I’ll send you a voucher code for a 20% partner discount.

Are you Ready To:

• Finally speak German instead of just learning about it?

• actually remember and use what you learn?

• stop freezing and start forming your own sentences?

• feel confident opening your mouth in German?

• understand what you’re learning instead of memorizing blindly?

• let go of the feeling that “German just isn’t for me”?

This is what changes when you can actually speak German

(But you know that.)

1

German stops being an open problem in your life. You’re no longer “trying” or “starting again.” You’re building something real. And with that comes relief, clarity, and the feeling: I can actually do this.

2

Your everyday life in German starts to feel different. You understand more. You speak more. You participate instead of avoiding. German becomes something you can use — at work, in conversations, and in real situations — not something you constantly work around.

3

You rebuild trust in yourself as a learner. Whether you’re starting new or restarting, this is where German begins to grow instead of reset. Progress becomes visible. Speaking becomes normal. And confidence comes from experience, not motivation.

I built this course to help more people to really speak German

I want you to experience German as something you can really grasp, use, and enjoy — not as a pile of rules to memorize.

From the very beginning, you build real vocabulary, start forming your own sentences, and work actively with the language, no grammar rules that are empty, but understanding how to build sentences.  My goal is that German becomes something you can use with confidence, not just something you “studied” once.

If you want to truly learn German — not just study it — you’re in the right place.

And if you want to explore this approach without pressure, you’re backed by a 14-day guarantee.
